I believe the answer to this question is subjective. There are people who are not totally good at setting up and controlling their own start-up to success. For this category of persons, entrepreneurship may not exactly be the right fit.
But there is good news…
If you truly put your mind to it, you can be an entrepreneur regardless of who you are, there’s always something for you to do on your own if you’re willing to put the work in.
I may be a blogger, but trust me, if for any reason you’re not comfortable blogging, there are definitely other things you can do to make a living on your own without answering to a boss.
Personally, I’m not someone who is comfortable answering to an employer, so for someone like me, a 9-5 job feels similar to a prison sentence. This is why I started quite early in life to pave way for myself in the entrepreneurship world.
Having a 9-5 is quite exhausting, you’ll have lesser time for yourself and your loved ones. Life is too short these days, therefore you can’t afford to miss several hours on end without interacting with your loved ones. Moreover, the burnout is real.
Having your own independent work (especially if it is online) means that you can do whatever you want at any time and you’d never have to postpone going to the beach with your kid or mum, because provided there’s internet connection or even a router, you can work anywhere even from the beach while sunbathing.
However, there are still people who may truly want to work in a traditional office, if this is your dream, then you cannot be judged. The only thing you must consider though, is choosing the best employment that suits your personality and values.
In the future, I might write a post about traditional employment types that may be good and maybe flexible for you. Just watch out, because you don’t know when I might provide you with this gem. But for now, have a lovely day. Bye!
